Conquest House Gallery newly opened in March 2016 by portrait and decorative painter Kathryn Rennie and is a contemporary art space in an historic setting in Canterbury, Kent. The exhibition program focuses on a group of emerging established artists from Canterbury, London and abroad, with the aim of developing careers and bringing different art practices onto the open playing field.
The gallery will be participating in overseas and UK art fairs, and is establishing a reputation for supporting individualism and the psychology of artists. The gallery becoming synonymous with quality and diversity, exhibiting collections of sculptures and paintings characterised by their variety - from traditional landscapes, still-life studies and intricate protraits, to the enchantment of abstract and surreal.
Conquest House Gallery brings together artists who have a profound and intimate relationship with their medium and subject.
