Join production company Woolly Vision for an exclusive behind the scenes Masterclass of their short film Tickled Pink (2014).
The session will explore the whole creative process, from inception to post production, with an opportunity for you to ask the animators questions about the industry and the film.
This masterclass is aimed at young industry professionals and individuals looking to establish a career in animation.
About Woolly Vision:
Nudinits is the result of a collaboration between writer and designer Sarah Simi and animator Ed Hartwell, aka Woolly Vision, who produce stop frame animation using wool, fabric, felt and fur but all with a subversive edge!
About the Film Tickled Pink:
In a cosy corner of England there are a couple of things the villagers are far too polite to mention. Everyone is naked and there’s a huge double entendre in the room. In the world’s first all knitted animation, nudinits are the quirky inhabitants of Woolly Bush, a village bursting with Britishness and bare bottoms. There are crumpets and vicars, cockneys and twitchers, cream horns and slippers all wrapped up in a blanket of Carry On silliness with just a stitch of Camberwick Green. Everything in this film has been hand knitted in Britain, even the fag ends and dog poo. In this episode, ‘Tickled Pink’, the villagers celebrate Barbara’s birthday but has Bernard remembered and just what will the vicar spread over Hattie’s muffins?
|Thu 30 Oct 2014||18:00 to 19:30|
Advance booking required. Only 24 spaces available.
As you might have guessed from the trailer, there’s plenty of innuendo, woollen nudity, and some crudeness in Tickled Pink, some of which will be naturally included in the masterclass as well. Because of this, along with the fact that the masterclass is intended for those already somewhat familiar in the art of animation, Anifest recommends that that any attendees be at least 16 years old.
