Step back in time and venture beneath the streets of the modern city to discover evidence of the bustling Roman town of Durovernum Cantiacorum. View the remains of an original Roman town house (around which Canterbury Roman Museum is built) with its mosaics and underfloor heating. See significant Roman finds, and discover the timeline which tracks the history of present day Canterbury down to the level of the original Roman street.
