Step back in time and beneath the streets of the modern city discover evidence of the bustling Roman town of Durovernum Cantiacorum. View the remains of an original Roman town house (around which Canterbury Roman Museum is built) with its mosaics and underfloor heating. See significant Roman finds, and discover the timeline which tracks the history down of the present Canterbury to the level of the original Roman street.

Adults and children age 12 plus. Free 40 minute guided. Meet inside the entrance at 1300.
