For the first time ever, and made possible by the building of our new theatre, the UK's most successful choreographer and director Matthew Bourne and his company New Adventures bring their spectacular new production of Sleeping Beauty to Canterbury.
Matthew Bourne is a five-time Olivier Award-Winner and the only UK artist to have won a Tony Award on Broadway for both Best Choreographer and Best Director Of A Musical. His productions of Swan Lake, Nutcracker!, Cinderella, Edward Scissorhands and now Sleeping Beauty are regarded as some of the most successful and accessible narrative-driven theatrical productions, appealing to audiences of all ages.
