Come and learn how to decorate your home for Christmas with Edward Asquith.
Edward will demonstrate and teach us how to make decorations for the door, the wall and the table enabling us to give an individual look to our homes at Christmas. We will be given aide memoires for each of the decorations to take away and after the demonstration will be able to buy the essentials needed from a well-stocked sales table.
The morning will begin with coffee at 10:00 am and conclude with a light lunch at 12:30 pm. After lunch Edward’s decorations and the table decorations will be raffled.
Edward is a Kent Area demonstrator for NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies). He has been chairman of the Canterbury Flower Club and an officer of NAFAS Kent. An achievement of which he is particularly proud is being presented with a Silver medal for flower arranging at the Chelsea Flower Show. Edward will be ably assisted by Michael Hannah, who achieved a Silver Gilt medal for flower arranging at the Chelsea Flower Show. Both Edward and Michael have been Canterbury Cathedral flower arrangers since 1990 and their arrangements have been on display at two Enthronements (2003 and 2013) and the Royal Maundy service in 2002.
