Celebrated novelist and award-winning biographer A.N. Wilson’s meticulously researched latest work explores the life and loves of Queen Victoria during her 64 years on the throne. He sets her personal story against the backdrop of this momentous political epoch in Britain – and Europe’s – history. Drawing on (literally) thousands of letters never before published, he describes the process of getting to know Victoria as ‘one of the most joyous experiences of my life.’
