Pot Luck has returned once again to tickle your creative taste buds! Operating as performance tapas, Pot Luck is the most exciting and award winning performance platform to take place across Kent.
Pot Luck showcases the very best performance-makers both locally and nationally and commission's new works in direct response to each venue and location it visits. This is a fun and informal way to taste something a little bit different. Come and try our menu, meet our artists and have a mingle.
See The Beaney as you have never seen it before in a magical after-hours event! Let your curiosity take over, wander at your leisure through the galleries, and discover amazing performances from an international line-up of artists.
Pot Luck #9 will feature a specially commissioned interactive video installation by Genetic Moo, which has been inspired by The Beaney’s natural history specimens. The programme will also include dance, live art, performance, and music. Here is a sneak peek of some of the things you’ll encounter: Nina von der Werth has choreographed a piece that will move through The Beaney responding to different exhibits. Julia B Fitzpatrick and Daniel Somerville will present their physical interpretation of a poem by Diane Wakoski. Culture Device, a company for dancers with Down’s Syndrome, will perform their latest work. There will be an interactive music installation by Greta Eacott, and Marcus Orlandi will use everyday objects to create sound art.
There will also be a bar, opportunity to mingle and talk to the artists.
