This much acclaimed and multi award winning guided river tour provides a truly entertaining experience for its visitors and is perfect for all age groups, the tour combines a very enjoyable light hearted commentary whilst also discovering some of Canterbury’s finest architecture set against outstanding views of natural scenery.
Each boat is chauffeured by one of the boatmen, who acts as your guide to the sights upon the river by giving you the enjoyable history of all the different buildings that you pass along the way.
Throughout the season from March to November, weather and river conditions permitting, tours leave every 15 to 20 minutes. Unless you are a group of more than 12 people (see group bookings), there is no need to book in advance. Simply visit them on the King's Bridge, outside The Old Weavers House on Canterbury’s High Street, to find out the next available tour time.
A single ticket tour which has a drop off point at the Millers Garden is also available but must be requested prior to departure.
Tickets purchased online must be redeemed at their trading point on the King’s Bridge, on Canterbury’s high street prior to the departure of the tour. Please note that this attraction operates pending on weather and river conditions.

Canterbury Historic River Tours issues these tickets digitally. This means that upon booking, you will be given a link to your digital ticket with a unique booking confirmation number. YOU MUST PRINT THIS TICKET and bring it with you.
