Just 1km from the city centre, YHA offers a friendly welcome, high standards, a delicious breakfast and last night access for those wanting to enjoy an evening on the town.

We have a fantastic, newly refurbished hostel in a great location just a 10 minute walk from the city centre with free parking, reception 7 - 10am/3 - 11pm, open all year - facilities include: self catering kitchen, licensed cafe/bar, internet/wifi access, cycle hire and secure cycle shed, large private enclosed garden and summer tented accommodation.

Flexible pricing - daily rates set. Room prices available based on number of occupants. Child rates available. Member discounts applicable. Family room rates available. Group rates available.

Secure bike park. Guide dogs only. Satellite tv in lounge. We serve evening meals to groups/small parties when booked in advance. Otherwise there is a selection of snacks and hot/cold beverages available from our cafe/bar. Children welcome from any age.

From bus station enter underpass at Fenwicks to cinema, continue on to St Georges Place and across road onto New Dover Road. Hostel is 500 yards on right.

From Canterbury East railway station: turn right and follow city wall past fire station, then right at second roundabout (by cinema) then follow directions from cinema as above.

By road: Follow signs for Dover (A2) through Canterbury onto A2050/New Dover Road - Hostel is on right before turning to cricket ground.
