Horsebridge Arts and Community Centre

New and contemporary ceramics by local potters in a special Exhibition by the Kent Potters Association. The work is as varied as its members, and this promises to be a vibrant, fun and interesting display, Stewards will be on hand daily to answer questions and chat about ceramics.

The Association is open to all who have an interest in pottery. Our members include collectors, students, teachers, amateur and professional potters, manufacturers and suppliers. We seek to promote interest and education in ceramics throughout Kent. The Kent Potters Association was formed in 1974, and includes professionals, amateurs, teachers and students. Our monthly meetings cover discussions, visits to museums, lectures, workshops and demonstrations, often by internationally known potters. Our aim is to promote good craftsmanship, to encourage mutual co-operation and to exchange ideas and experiences in tackling pottery problems. We exhibit regularly throughout the county. In recent years we have also participated in events such as the Art In Clay festival at Hatfield House and Ceramics South East at Farnham, Surrey.
