The Most Joy-Giving Book in the World? Andrew Clover
What is it? Bhagavad Gita? The Koran? The Bible? Andrew Clover joined the world's five big faiths, and read their books, to see which was right - a bit like The X Factor, for Gods. Now he's doing a Complete Guide To World Religion (in one hour). He's electing The Supreme Winner. Warning: blasphemy will occur, also some great jokes, and one moment of transcendence.
Actor, comedian and author Andrew Clover was nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer Award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2000 fir his show 'A Man of Substance in a World of Filth' and has appeared at the festival every year since with a series of hit shows. He has written three books, 'The Things I'd Miss', 'Learn Love in a Week' and 'Dad Rules', based on his highly popular Sunday Times Style magazine column.
