Parking Charges
Daytime parking tariffs apply between 8.30am and 8pm.

Car parks
The majority of our off-street car parks are pay and display. The machines take a range of coins but do not give change.

Parking Payment Cards
A Parking Payment Card gives a 10 per cent discount and can be used in any off-street pay and display machine. For more information on payment cards, visit the website.

Parking for Blue Badge Holders
Vehicles displaying a valid blue badge can use pay and display car parks for up to three hours free of charge and can buy pay and display tickets to extend parking time if required. Please use the pdf to identify car parks with dedicated parking bays for disabled badge holders. The number of disabled parking bays available is displayed in the DP column.

Motorcycle Parking
Please use the pdf for car parks with free motorcycle parking. They have a tick in the M/C column. Motorcyclists who park in normal parking bays must buy and display a valid pay and display ticket.

Bicycle parking
Bicycle stands are available at numerous locations in Whitstable.

Residents and Businesses off-street parking
Off-street permits can be purchased (subject to availability) allowing users to park in pay and display car parks. These do not apply to the Harbour car park or the Leisure Centre car park.

Residents on-street parking
On-street permits, can be purchased (subject to availability) to allow parking without a time limit in the marked on-street parking bays within the town centre parking zone.

Coach parking
Coaches may park in three designated bays in Tankerton Road car park for £3 for any period up to 24hrs.
