Details

Launch event for Maggie Harris' second collection of short stories, following the success of 'Canterbury Tales on a Cockcrow Morning', both published by Cultured Llama. Parakeets, smugglers, mermaids, lost boys and poets are some of the characters that span the Isle of Thanet across time, giving a nod to the past and speeding up through the 20th century. The writer is also a poet who lived in Thanet for more than thirty years, and was Regional Winner of the Commonwealth Short Story Prize, 2013.
