Supported by the University of Kent History Department, 6th form students from Simon Langton Boys and Girls Schools in Canterbury have studied archives and records at the Beaney, Canterbury Cathedral and Canterbury Heritage Museum, to research for themselves what life was like for Canterbury residents during the First World War.
Artist and curator Patricia Wilson Smith worked closely with the students to curate this centenary exhibition, which traces the course of the 'War to end all Wars', and explores the value of remembrance and the view that 'those who do not remember the past are doomed to repeat it'.
