A Canadian multi-instrumental trio.
The East Pointers hail from Canada’s Prince Edward Island and feature banjoist/vocalist/step-dancer Koady Chaisson, fiddle player/vocalist Tim Chaisson, and guitarist/vocalist Jake Charron.
The Chaissons - who are cousins - are part of the sixth generation of a heralded fiddlers from the island. When Jake visited the island a Canadian late-night kitchen party was sure to follow with fiddles and friends, guitars, Guinness and banjos.
As their trunk of original and traditional tunes and songs started to fill up, the trio put them to tape and took to the road. The result is The East Pointers, who released their debut album Sweet Victory in 2015 and have been touring the world almost constantly since then.
