    Details

David Atkin Ltd in association with Theatre Bench and Robin Rayner - Our Friends, The Enemy.

The Western Front, Christmas 1914: lights appear from the German trenches and soldiers meet between the firing lines. The events which follow are the most astounding stories of the Great War told through the eyes of one soldier. Private James Boyce takes us on a magical, haunting journey through the events surrounding the Christmas truce.

Written by Alex Gwyther. Directed by Tom O'Brien.

“Unlike anything which you may have heard before” – Broadway Baby

“A haunting and powerful work” – The Scottish Daily Mail

Supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
