Details

Henry Cockburn, a highly praised East Kent artist who spent 8 years in mental hospitals after being diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2002, paints original visionary pictures of fiery dragons, imagined cities and dreamlike scenes. Using the experience of mental illness to show it fueling creative achievement, this exhibition inspiringly celebrates recovery: what Henry has done, others can do too.
