This two-day conference will explore the story of the Black Prince, whose tomb is in the Cathedral's Trinity Chapel. It is part of a wider project to preserve and research the architecture and historic objects of the Black Prince.

The conference examines and discusses the Black Prince, his life and his influences on the past and present and aims to contextualise him within the Cathedral setting. A keynote address will be complemented by a series of presentations, panel discussions and unique and unusual access to Canterbury Cathedral.
