Canterbury Glass Art on Palace Street, it's free to visit the workshop where rods of glass are used to create works of art right before your eyes!

Using a high temperature flame, Italian rods of glass are melted and shaped over 1,100 degrees Celsius. The molten glass is shaped into animals, figurines and beautifully jewellery using the simplest of tools but requiring amazing skill from the highly trained craftspeople.

Visitors are encouraged to ask questions and take pictures.
