Bridget Jones returns – and she’s a singleton again! Bridget Jones’s (Renée Zellweger) “happily ever after” hasn’t quite gone according to plan. Now in her forties, she’s focusing on her career and her friends after breaking up with Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). But her love life takes a turn when she meets a dashing American named Jack Qwant (Patrick Dempsey) and finds herself pregnant. There’s just one hitch: she can only be fifty percent sure who the baby’s father is… With Sally Phillips, Gemma Jones, Jim Broadbent and Emma Thompson, Sharon Maguire’s romantic comedy is a hilarious and touching return to form.
