English Chamber Orchestra Ensemble
Dropping into Canterbury for one night only en route to the Royal Albert Hall in November, Miloš ‘the hottest guitarist in the world’ (Sunday Times) presents a concert of music spanning from Bach to the Beatles via Vivaldi, De Falla, Rodrigo and Piazzola. Committed to the idea of widening the classical music audience, this programme – presented with an ensemble from the English Chamber Orchestra – will be a delight for families, young people and classical music aficionados alike.
As part of a major UK tour of the accompanying album Blackbird on the Universal label, this unique opportunity to enjoy ‘classical music’s guitar hero’ (BBC Music Magazine) up close is to be savoured.
Born in Montenegro in 1983, Miloš Karadaglic is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music, has played with many of the world’s leading orchestras and collaborated with Gregory Porter, Tori Amos, Steven Isserlis and sitar superstar Anoushka Shankar. Of Blackbird, The Times said, ‘It is so elegantly executed, and with such a plaintive quality, that it goes beyond…into something approaching art’
