The Beaney Children’s Writing Competition
Initiated by the Canterbury Rotary Club
The Canterbury Rotary Club and the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge have once again launched a creative writing competition for children, following last year’s successful partnership.
The theme of the competition is “A Visit to the Beaney” and is open to children aged 8 and 9 years old. Prizes of £30, £20 and £10 vouchers are provided by the Canterbury Rotary Club along with an additional prize by Waterstones, St Margaret’s Street, Canterbury. Celebratory certificates will also be awarded to short-listed entries.
Entries with up to a maximum of 100 words can be handed in at the Beaney or posted to: Children’s Writing Competition, The Beaney, 18 High Street, Canterbury, CT1 2RA
Closing date for entries is Saturday 30th November and winners will be invited along to an award ceremony at the Beaney.
